Technology and Media Services Support Center
On August 11, 2008, OIT will open the Student Help Center, a new location for computing support, in the West Dunn Building, at the southwest corner of Dan Allen Drive and Thurman Drive.
Hours will be Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Students can receive support in these areas:
- Software, including virus and spyware removal
- Connectivity for users of ResNet and the campus wireless network
- Warranty and hardware for computers purchased from the Campus Bookstore
- Unity account; e.g., password reset
- Campus cable television
- Campus telephone and voice mail
In addition, the Center will:
- Distribute software
- Rent out Play Station II, DVD, VCR and converter boxes
