This site is to aid campus support staff by providing links to tools and resources available through ITD or other departments on campus. Sysnews:
- Sysnews
Sysnews is used to provide information about information technology systems at NC State, including upcoming system outages, emergencies and other service changes. - USMDB Quota Tool
The Quota Tool is used to change the allocation of disk space between three areas of usage: AFS, Novell, and IMAP. - User Lookup
The User Lookup tool is used to access information about a user, including Unity account details, information on IMAP and Novell allocation and usage, mail forwards and aliases, etc. For some users, this tool is also used to reset a user's Unity password back to a default. - Windows Profile Reset
This tool will reset the Unity Novell profile of a user back to its original state. It has options to prevent the deletion of certain settings and configurations. - Nagios server status
The server status page is used to monitor the service state of many of the major production services on campus. - Network status
ComTech provides this page to help monitor and report network outages on campus.

This is the main link to campus information about Symantec Antivirus, including software downloads and virus updates. - Software@NC State
This page will direct you to other software that the university has licensed in various forms, including SAS, AutoCAD, etc. - Flyspace
Flyspace is a conceptual design for simple collaborative meeting spaces. This link explains the service and allows for the reservation of these rooms. - Unity locker request
This link will allow users to request additional locker space above and beyond the allocation allowed by the USMDB Quota Tool. - Medicine Bag
The Medicine Bag is a tools CD developed by ITD ResNet staff to assist with on-site computing issues.

The User Indetification & Authentication system ia a challenge/response system used by campus help desks to verify identity remotely.
