Problem:
Some of the information that is display im my customer record in the
NC State Remedy system is incorrect or missing. How can I get this
information updated so that the correct information is displayed in
Remedy?
Solution:
The customer data that is displayed in the NC State Remedy system is
not actually maintained within the Remedy system... it is imported on
a daily basis from a variety of other (more authoratitive sources on
campus. In the case of student data, the information comes from a
database maintained by Registration and Records. For faculty and
staff, the information comes from a variety of sources including the
Peoplesoft Human Resources system. In both cases, the customer has
direct control over what information is in these databases, and both
offices provide web-based interfaces for the customer to maintain
their contact information.

at the bottom of the follwing web page:
http://www.ncsu.edu/directory/index.php
As changes are made through these interfaces, the updated information
will automagically appear in the Remedy system within a day or two.
