Full Solution:
Problem/Question:

If I have an email that I want appended to a call in Remedy, what is the
correct address and syntax to accomplish that?

Also, how can I send e-mail to the attention of a particular Remedy
workgroup?

Solution

You can send an e-mail message directly into a workgroup by sending the
message to

  [wgname]@help.ncsu.edu

You can append text to an existing call by including the call number in the
"Subject" line of the message. Format your subject line like:

Subject: Call 134140: Any text OK here

as an example. The important part is the call number... if it is not correct,
it won't
connect with the call correctly and will update another call, or create a new
call.

You should omit the call number in the subject line to create a new calls.
