Problem:
Where do I set my login password in the Remedy system?
Solution:
NOTE: Remedy login passwords are limited to a maximum length of 29
characters. If you use the password reset tool mentioned below
to reset your Remedy login password and the lenght of the new
password is longer than 29 characters, you will not be able to
login to Remedy with the new password, nor will you receive an
error when resetting the password.
Using the Remedy client:
1. From the Calls form, use the "Utilities" menu, choose "My
User Record".
2. This will open your Remedy User record in Modify mode. Enter a
password in the appropriate field and press the "Save" button.
3. Logout of the Remedy client and login again with your new password.
Your previous credentials become invalid, so Remedy won't let you do
anything interesting until you log in again.
NOTE: It is also possible to login to the Remedy system using your
Wolftech Active Directory password.
