Problem:

How can I link my student organization's home page to the university's
web?

Solution:

NOTES:

- Student Organizations include clubs, Fraternities and Sororities (honor and
  social).

- Only Student Organizations that are registered in good standing with the
Student Organization Resource Center can be considered for listing.
There is no other valid registration in this regard.

- No links to sites hosted in www4 or other student homepages

- No access to scripting capabilities (cgi-bin, PHP)

In order to keep student organization's pages from residing in personal
filespace, Information Technology grants currently registered Student
Organizations a free 20mb volume within OIT's webserver's AFS filespace.

A request must be made (in writing on organization letterhead or via email)
from either the president or faculty advisor of the student organization. This
request must be made to Web Services (webmaster@ncsu.edu) for this
filespace allocation.

This request must include the name of the organization and may include the
UNITY/EOS userid's of up to two people who will be responsible for:

1) placing the documents online
2) the contents of those documents

Once your filespace has been established, send email to deborah_felder@ncsu.edu
and request that a link for your site be added to the list of organization web
pages. Remember to include the URL of your site with the request.
